Hello, I'm Wendy Bouchier, and I'm the person behind the scenes here at Bouchier Maine Coons. I'm often asked what it's like to be a breeder, and the simple truth is, I love what I do.
It’s certainly not a path for everyone, filled with as many highs as it is with lows. Breeding is a deeply personal journey, where each of us has our own unique teachings, history, and learnings that shape our path.
For me, all of that hard work and dedication culminates in a feeling of deep pride. It’s an honor to be a part of these magnificent cats' lives, and it brings me so much joy to see them thrive in their forever homes

In a sun-drenched backyard, the vibrant green grass provided a soft carpet for a tender scene. Our dog, Fletcher, with a warm and loving gaze, gently looked over Shaka, our new addition who was just a tiny kitten, a new arrival to our home. The golden sunlight bathed them in a comforting glow, highlighting the peaceful moment of their first connection.

Shaka
Our stunning blue Maine Coon stud cat is a social and affectionate companion who thrives on interaction. He enjoys daily walks and loves the excitement of cat shows, showcasing his impressive pedigree and charming personality. Perfect for breeding or as a devoted family friend, he combines beauty, temperament, and showmanship in one exceptional feline.
Daisy
Is the queen of breeding Maine Coons here. By nature, she is a true princess, exuding grace and charm in every moment. She has a special fondness for her sisters, enjoying their company and the gentle bond they share. Ms Daisy also loves a warm lap, often curling up comfortably, embodying the perfect balance of regal elegance and affectionate warmth.
Kahn
Is our gentle giant, a majestic presence with a heart as vast and kind as his impressive stature. Despite his considerable size, he remains incredibly playful and has a deep love for his toys, often getting so engrossed that he momentarily forgets just how big he really is. What truly sets him apart is the extraordinary bond he shares with our granddaughter Rose – a connection rich in warmth, trust, and boundless affection that brightens every moment they spend together.
Poppy
Is our beloved breeding queen and the baby of the family. While she may be small in size, she more than makes up for it with her spirited personality. Courageous, agile, and smart, Poppy carries herself with a touch of aloofness that adds to her charm. She enjoys a good scratch and a gentle rub, but always on her own terms, showcasing her independent nature. A true character, Poppy embodies the perfect blend of strength and grace.
Mooshi-Mooshi
Is the revered matriarch of the crew and the heart of our journey. Though desexed, she remains the true queen, a presence of grace and quiet authority. With effortless poise, she commands respect and gently reminds everyone of their place, setting the tone for harmony and balance within our pet family.
Ruki
Is one of our most treasured breeding queens, widely admired for her cheeky and mischievous personality. She is full of confidence—sometimes a bit misplaced—but that only adds to her charm. She’s the one who will gently give you a playful smack in the face to announce that it’s breakfast time, making mornings more entertaining. Always playful and rarely upset, Ruki consistently brings a lively and spirited energy that brightens up our entire cattery environment.

Every meal I prepare for our Maine Coons is thoughtfully crafted using only the freshest, highest-quality meat, which is meticulously minced to guarantee the best texture and maximum nutritional value. Alongside the meat, I carefully select and prepare a balanced blend of wholesome vegetables, essential vitamins, and important minerals, all precisely portioned to cater to the unique dietary needs of these large and active cats. To ensure both freshness and convenience, each meal is frozen in perfect portions, making it easy to provide our family with the consistent nourishment they need to stay healthy and energetic.
